Despite the fluffy nature of the sport, this community can be unbelievably rabid when something that they don't like gets published. I report these things as I view them, but then I see the Animal Crossing Items poisonous posters continue to post here and wonder if it even does any good. I will be completely honest here however, I know your second point. And I will admit for awhile, there has not been a lot of active moderation here, only being 1-2 active mods at some points. Lately I sat down for a while and caught up with all the monstrously deep queue. This is why I'd love to have some new moderators, therefore the active ones don't get burnt out and items fall behind again. So pleasekeep reporting.
As for the flair system, we don't have one that's relatively simple. In case you have some suggestions for certain flairs you may don't hesitate to say so.
Finally and once again, thank you for your feedback. And sorry if this comment seems somewhat unorganized/poorly written, I rather just threw my thoughts into the comment box. It destroys the game for those folks who perform ac how it was supposed to be played with (personal opinion). I don't want to see all the new holiday items a month until they're supposed to be viewed. This also was the case with snow, where north hemisphere folks were tt to chilly while it was fall.
Adding onto this, I think we need a flair for photographs which are visually enhanced/filtered. There are some gorgeous photos posted on this, and I love seeing them, however, most are because of editing and filters. We should have a flair so everyone knows if a photograph is edited or not. I think they're fine but if it is causing sufficient stress on the neighborhood possibly they should be removed. I never have viewed them as negative, but as a positive and bittersweet second this game has enabled for people grieving. Nevertheless, individuals can grieve without letting the whole world know about it...
Now that most people have undergone all four seasons, and given that the two hemispheres are in different seasons, I really don't think a spoiler tag should be crucial for general content which occurs in different months because of TT.
But, I would encourage a spoiler tag for a number of events/items (e.g., toy afternoon, festivale) and particularly for items which may only be collected from finishing that event (like the festivale float) or which may only be acquired through hacking (as opposed to an item accumulated through TT and traded into a player who doesn't TT), possibly prior to Buy Nook Miles Ticket the event is unlocked/has begun in the last time zone/items are added to the game and considered"tradeable" without hacking.
