I think about it like we had been all a scattered deck of cards and after we finally got the pile together and all the hearts/diamonds/spades/clovers back together so that we could serve as a whole... somebody fucking came along and decided to play 52 card pickup.
God I despise the entire world lol. These people have actually grown up being told that they're appropriate by their circles on the internet too and simply Begin to embody it real people in jobs today and when the real world does not match their Twitter bubble they freak the fuck out
There is a quotation a like but that I do not remember who said it when unfortunately and it goes something like"it is easier to convince a guy he's being fooled then it's to convince him he's the fool" and that I think it's actually important here
Basically there is a demographic of people that are mad and possibly even quite intelligent (but quite unwise) who when faced by the truth of their mistakes and failures instead decide that it is reality that is incorrect. Ego is a hell of a drug.Mark twain said"its easier to fool a man than to convince him he has been duped." Not certain if that's what you're referring to. Either way it truly is crazy the lengths people will go to rather than own up to some error.
One of my favourite fucking things is that body positivity was appropriated by fat people who don't need to confront the truth and shed the weight, instead of being used to assist people with lost limbs, surgical scars, and skin conditions.Or even: be positive about your body. I don't fucking care. It's probably a more enjoyable way to live than being negative and fat about it and not doing anything about it (ie. What I am doing).
Makes you sound as awful as climate change deniers and flat earthers.My favourite part is when they bully people that have the audacity to talk about their health, or any sort of exercise. Apparently it's fatphobic to post about running when fat men and women exist...
You aren't even safe if you are"one of them" lmao. I left a post congradulating Elliott Page on coming out, and all the comments I got were people yelling at me for"deadnaming him" because I said"formerly known as Ellen Page." Like what, it's illegal to catch people up who are outside of the loop?
As a dude who has fought obesity my entire life, it is not quite as easy as going to the gym and/or eating fewer calories. There's normally some sort of eating disorder inherent it a lot of individuals dismiss as"an unhealthy relationship with food."
