Aja's proprietors intend to showcase their favourite dishes from all over south-east Asia, such as satay aja (sticks of chicken and beef skewered and grilled to perfection served with minced tomato chilli and herb sauces); roast beef seaweed rolls; whole prawn toast (king prawns, slightly floured, deep-fried and served on soy toast), tempura battered fish with sweet and sour sauce; and lamb shank slow-cooked for hours in rice wine and northern Chinese spices. It's a great place, the only downside is that it gets busy so either book ahead for a seat or phone ahead for takeaway or it could be a wait. (31/12/2008 18:17:07)
