The sushi here is good, but they should wrap it in proper plastic, and not just cling wrap, because it makes the shop look a bit cheap. But they give you a lot of soy sauce (30/12/2010 13:18:40)

The Pixies' Here Comes Your Man is playing as we head through the restaurant to a chorus of irasshaimase! If you think listening to music that isn't Japanese bamboo flute is strange in a Sydney Japanese restaurant, try being shouted ‘welcome' in Japanese by a bunch of indie-looking white guys. The prodigal son returns, with chef Shaun Presland (former chef at sushi e) coming back to the Merivale fold to head up Sushi Choo. Presland is a busy boy, also heading the kitchen at Ivy's other Japanese diner, Teppanyaki. (23/09/2008 17:25:30)
