My diaries still contain records regarding my latest RuneScape successes
OSRS Gold However, it always finds a way to snare me. This time, it was the Legacy Combat Mode, which was a return to the tick-based warfare of the past. EoC and I continue to have a rather turbulent relationship; mostly due to resistance on my part, but I'm trying. Rarely.
My diaries still contain records regarding my latest RuneScape successes, particularly when I'm able to acquire a brand-new leveling pet, but it has to be shared with a few reflections on the Indie games I've played and angry about my lack of Log Stool homemade recipes from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm in the process of making the list of things that I'd like to accomplish in RuneScape over the next few years.
It would be nice to develop my Dungeoneering ability (unlikely) and rework my money pit house. I might even finally make it to that Salt in the Wound quest One time I was looking forward to this quest until a friend of mine told me about an pillar in particular - if you're aware of. Since then, I've never had the motivation to tackle it, but perhaps 2022 is the year.
When you participate in an MMORPG for a lengthy period (say 15 years) it becomes a the part of you that you live with, regardless of whether you like to play solo or become an active participant in the community. RuneScape is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and while there were highlights like in particular the Elder God Wars dungeon and Azzanadra's Quest however there were some low points, such as the Login Lockout.
Yet, I believe RuneScape is strong enough to celebrate its 30th birthday given how smartphone and Steam version have brought it to a whole new set of players. I'll certainly be around for all the major new games, particularly in the case of penguins and changes to the Construction skill and, if I'm in need of a rest, I can always return to Old School RuneScape.
You can play a game for a thousand hours however that doesn't mean that you'll enjoy the game. We've all seen the meme of someone writing negative Steam review with over 5,000 hours on record. However, let's face it, that's just not the case anymore.
I've sunk hundreds of hours in Fallout 4 and might have enjoyed five of them. The rest was nothing more than a promise of fun, along with that bloody 'kill, loot and return' loop fooling my brain into thinking I was having fun. You've also seen what you've all said about Skyrim and how you've come crawling back to the game again. Pathetic, the lot of us.
