After launching in Oxford Street, Paddington, Bite Me has expanded its burger empire to the sandy streets of Bondi. Slotted in among the faded tourist cafes of Campbell Parade, Bite Me's shiny red decor stands out like a beacon. Fans of the Paddo burgers will find them all present on the Bondi menu, but with a few new additions designed especially for the beachside market. Options such as the 'gobble me' turkey and cranberry burger with maple-roasted pecans and avocado; and the 'minestrone' burger (diced vegies bound in a potato pattie, served with pesto) promise variety far beyond the standard beef on a bun. The bar offers cheekily named cocktails that delightfully take the mickey out of the Bondi social set. Sip on a Fake Tan martini, or match your Budgie Smuggler (Absolut Vanilia, apple liqueur, lime and mint) with a bikini-body-friendly mini burger.
