"RNA seq pathway analysis is a technique that examines the sequences and quantity of RNA molecules in a biological sample using next generation sequencing (NGS). Next-generation sequencing technologies have the advantages of high throughput, high sensitivity, and high speed. RNA-seq is a rather unbiased method for analysis of the transcriptome, with single-nucleotide resolution and a tremendous dynamic detection range (>8,000 fold).RNA-seq is now being widely applied in biomedical research for the characterization of the transcriptome. The experimental workflow of RNA-seq consists of RNA isolation, cDNA library construction, and deep sequencing. RNA-seq allows for the quantification of the abundance level or relative alterations of each transcript under specific conditions or during defined developmental stages.
