Blizzard, the gaming giant behind games like World of Warcraft , has changed how its employees are paid. Activision Blizzard's Proxy Statement reveals that the company has taken down a program called the Blizzard Holiday Plan. However, it says it's simply rearranged in the event that that money comes into employees' pockets as a result of their feedback.

WoW Classic Demo to Be Included in BlizzCon Virtual Pass

Blizzard is once again offering a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket . This way, those who can't attend live are able to take part in some of the festivities at the comfort of their home. But this year, Virtual Ticket holders can actually experience a special demo in World of Warcraft Classic.

According to the announcement, fans at home will be able to download The BlizzCon WoW Classic Demo, which will be available on the show floor for attendees starting on November 2 at 1 PM PT. That will include two early-level zones: ones for Alliance and one specifically for Horde. The zone will be open until 10 AM PT on November 8. meaning that those who went to BlizzCon in person will be able to go home and play further also.

Virtual Ticket holders also get commemorative items to represent their faction's alliance. They will be available starting today. You can equip the War Mantle of the Alliance or the Horde and Stormwind Champion's War Banner or the Orgimmar Hero's War Banner.
