Madden 23 features focus on FieldSense

To that end, FieldSense is Madden 23's newest on-field emphasis. It's a system that is used by defense, offense and special teams. For instance, QBs today have an aiming reticule , as well as a passing meters, while running backs are able to make 360-degree cuts as well as instant change of direction. On D, gang tackles return, while there's more substance to CB vs WR battles on the field of the scrimmage. It's at least theoretically.

There's still an issue with respect to the player's likeness in the game. Although EA would like to incorporate player likeness in the game and even pay athletes to include it but there's no union of college football players, nor a collective bargaining unions, which makes it more difficult for EA to secure the group license. But with Topps has announced its plans to release basketball and college football player trading cards, there's optimism that something could get done in the near future. It's unlikely that every single college football player will be included within EA Sports College Football, however if EA could be able to some gamers from Power 5 conferences, then I'm certain that's enough.
